Travels so far...

Hot and happy recovering in a small bar, after seeing a Japanese Salsa band perform Beatle music in Osaka

 

- with Dean and Yuka in Mino near Osaka!
Highlights included - the boys swimming in the Mino water fall, a close encounter with a grumpy wild monkey and enduring summer temperatures of approximately 36 degrees!

 

Himeji Castle - beautiful medieval castle about an hour west by train from Kobe. Reputed to be Japan's best castle! Check this site.

 

Beautiful Nara - ancient city of Temples and Palaces. We went October 7th 2001 with our JET Mates - Seiji, Dave and Karina!

Kyoto and Osaka with Vic - our first visitor!!!!!!!
