Nara - In the Autumn
We traveled to Nara with Seiji, Dave and Karina
on October the 7th 2001.
Nara is a beautiful little city with many temples and historical
buildings.
After a fabulous day exploring, we stayed at
the Nara Youth Hostel. A very clean, large place about 30 minutes
walk from the Station for 3000 Yen each (in sep dorms) - note:
more expensive than the Lonely Planet Guide suggested. Curfew
at 10pm! Impossible to sleep-in after 7.30am due to guest noise,
wake up calls and bad piped muzac!
