It was a long weekend here and so we set off to view the authumn
leaves at Kyoto and Osaka. ...Nice!

The Kiyomizu Temple
The
Kiyomizu Temple is one of the most famous Japanese temples
overlooking a valley overlooking maple trees. Added excitement
occured when we saw a maiko (apprentice geisha).
After having our fill of temples we wandered
around Gion and saw a Geisha running from the hairdressers
to a convenience store! Two in one day! Chris has been here
6 times and this was the first time he has seen any as well.
